Wayne Nickens Obituary, Death Cause – On Saturday, May 20, 2023, at eleven in the morning, the funeral services for Mr. Wayne Holland Nickens will be performed at the Calvary Baptist Church in Kilmarnock, Virginia. The Reverend Samuel Cain, who is in charge of the presider, is Pastor Samuel Cain. The Reverend Dr. Rodney Waller of the First African Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia, served as the eulogist for the funeral. Visitation will be held at Campbell Funeral Home on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 3 to 6 PM, and at the Church on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM. Both events are scheduled to take place on May 19.
Wayne Nickens, a resident of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away on March 9, 2022; he was 59 years old at the time of his passing. On the evening of March 15, 2022, visitation will take place at Colbert Memorial Chapel from seven o’clock in the evening until nine o’clock. On the morning of Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, at eleven o’clock, funeral services will be held inside the Chapel in memory of the deceased. Brother Thomas Thornton is going to act as the master of ceremonies for the event. The funeral and burial will take place at the Colbert Memorial Gardens. At the Helen Keller hospital in Sheffield, Alabama, on July 17, 1962, he was born into this world.
Before Thyron Nickens passed away, his parents, Jimmy and Ann Nickens, as well as his brother, Bobby Lee Nickens, all passed away one after the other. He is survived by his son, Michael Borden; daughters Lori Moss (Matt), Emily Cline (Wesley), and Melissa Miller (Dennis); five grandsons, Jonah Brown, Kyler Moss, Trevor Andrews, Tanner Gault, and Brantley Kelly; as well as brothers and sisters Steven Nickens (Kathy), Shannon Nickens, Melissa McCravey, and Doddie Aday. He will be deeply missed by all of his family members. Kathy Nickens, who was his wife, is another person who will miss him.
