During the few time that he was here with us, it was a privilege to get to know him. It is easy to imagine that hospital costs and the cost of funeral arrangements may quickly pile up, and this is before considering the financial burden of attempting to continue to provide for a family while they are grieving.
We have organized a lunch train for anyone who is interested in donating toward the cost of services or for anyone who is wanting to relocate to the area. It was well known that Tyler was the person who kept the party going strong by ensuring that everybody had a smile on their face and by being ready and prepared to assist in any situation that arose. In spite of the fact that this tragedy has left us all with broken hearts, Tyler will be able to save the lives of four other people today by donating his organs to transplant patients.
His contagious energy will live on in the people whose lives he changed while he was still on earth, as well as in the lives of the four recipients who will always have a piece of him with them. There are no words that can adequately express the tragedy that the Baltzer family has suffered, and my thoughts and prayers are with them during this trying time. This is a family who has always welcomed people into their home with open arms and a smile, and now it is our chance to provide them support as they go through this difficult time.
