Ronald Hess Obituary, Death Cause – The news of the demise of Ronald Hess, who had previously been a member of our Board of Trustees and had also held the position of President of the Board at one point, has left us in a state of profound grief. During this difficult time, the members and staff of the Historical Society would like to offer our deepest condolences to his family. We are sorry for the loss that you have suffered.
Private ceremonies will be held for both the funeral service and the burial of the deceased. Donations made in his honor may be given to the Masonic Medical Research Laboratory at 2150 Bleeker Street, Utica, New York 13501; MOVAC at 15 State Route 5-S, Mohawk, New York 13407; or the Richfield Springs Volunteer Fire Department at PO Box 1456, Richfield Springs, New York 13439.
On Wednesday, May 24, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, friends and family will be able to pay their respects to Mr. Hess at the J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, which is situated at 40 West James Street in Richfield Springs. Additionally, a visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Fenner Funeral Home Inc. in Herkimer, which is situated at 115 Court Street.
