The following is taken from a post that was made on social media: It is with great regret that PE has to report the death of Paul Skyrme, an electrical industry specialist, after a lengthy fight with illness. We will be forever thankful to Paul for his support of our magazine and the ELEX trade exhibitions, where he was a regular attendee and contributor. Paul was one of the original members of the e5 Group.
Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with Paul’s family, friends, and coworkers during this difficult time. Reverend Canon Andrew Grace presided over the funeral service and officiated the funeral. Together with the congregation, the choir gave a performance, during which they sang the uplifting song “Land of my Fathers” while being accompanied by Dr. John Harrison. Grandfather who is full of love.
