Samantha Miller Obituary, Death Cause – This is the first time that the South Carolina man who lost his bride to a suspected drunk driver on the day of their wedding has spoken publicly about what happened. On the evening of April 28, a golf cart that was transporting four people was struck from behind by an alleged intoxicated driver near Charleston, South Carolina. One of the victims, Samantha Miller, 34, was killed in the accident, and her new husband, Aric Hutchinson, along with the other two victims, sustained critical injuries.
The couple had only recently finished celebrating their wedding earlier earlier that day. “Sam has recently acquired that radiance. “She’s the kind of person who walks into a room, and you immediately take note of her presence,” Hutchinson remarked. In his first interview following the horrific tragedy that took the life of his wife, Hutchinson shared with “Good Morning America” how he is coping with the great loss of what he described as having been a lovely day before to the disaster that took her life.
“I’m still trying to get a handle on it, but it’s not easy. “That night, going from an all-time high to an all-time low, it’s pretty tough to try to comprehend,” Hutchinson said. “It’s like going from one extreme to the other.” According to him, the couple was encircled by friends and family members who had traveled from all across the country to be there. “She was in the happiest mood. To clarify, the majority of people are aware that the process of organizing a wedding may be very stressful.
“And she just had this strange calmness that night,” said Hutchinson, who went on to say that the wedding and reception were one of the finest evenings of his life. Hutchinson also mentioned that the wedding and reception were one of the best nights of his life. In the accident, Hutchinson shattered both of his legs, as well as sections of his face and his back. He also suffered from brain bleeds and other cuts, as stated by a GoFundMe page that was established by Hutchinson’s mother.
According to a local Charleston ABC affiliate, the two other people riding in the golf cart with Hutchinson and Miller also had injuries, including severe road rash and open wounds. Hutchinson and Miller were the only two people to be seriously injured.
