Eric Mueller Obituary, Death Cause – The life of Eric Mueller has been ended. At the regimental funeral that is being held today, we are paying tribute to the life of Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant Eric Mueller, who served with the Russell Country OPP Detachment. Over the course of his 21-year career in law enforcement, he will be remembered as a coach, a mentor, and a leader. He was the “glue that held his shift together.
” As we mourn the death of a life that was cut much too short, our hearts are saddened, and our thoughts are with his loved ones, colleagues, and the community as they grieve an unspeakable loss. Today, our police family and all Canadians are in mourning. Beloved spouse of Marie-France Ethier, and cherished son of Herbert Mueller and Ginette (née Beaudoin) Mueller. Jasmine and Hugo, his two cherished children, have made him a very proud father. Henry Mueller Wood, his nephew, and his sister Kathy Mueller (Christopher Wood) are the only family members he leaves behind.
His in-laws, Diane (née Larocque) and Pierre Ethier, as well as his sister-in-law Nancy (Francois Lafleur) and his niece, Léane Lafleur, will miss him very much. Many of his relatives, friends, and coworkers, as well as people of the community, will think warmly of him in the future. On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the family of Sergeant Eric Mueller, along with their guests, members of the Ontario Provincial Police, representatives from other police services, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, emergency services personnel and officials will gather at the Canadian Tyre Centre in Ottawa, Ontario for the private service.
