His son Matthew David Hawkins, his parents Clarence Hawkins and Sadie Hawkins (Dilley), and his siblings Jean, Gloria, Karen, Edwin, Randie, Lonnie, and Asher all passed away before him. He was the last of his family members to pass away. He is survived by : his wife Janet Hawkins (Hampton); his daughters, Nancy Cannon (Michael) of Wabash, Kristina Miller (William) of Anderson and Amy Humphrey (Harold) of Anderson; his sister Rita Futrell (Bob) of Warne; his grandsons.

In addition, he is survived by 11 great grandkids as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service is located at 229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, Indiana 46012; the visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. On the 16th of May, 2023, at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a funeral service held at the same place.
