Cindy Marquez, I hope that you will one day discover the peace and quiet that you have been looking for. You will be grieved profoundly, and your passing will in no way be forgotten. My heart is broken. God responded, “There is no longer any need for your suffering; I will raise you up.” I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as long as you continue to fight cancer and for as long as you have been fighting it.
COME HOME indy was a handful when she was a child, but she always had a wonderful soul. She was a beautiful, kind-hearted, amazing mother, sister, daughter, and friend. COME HOME indy was a handful. Those who were closest to her understood that she would sacrifice anything for her family and especially her children. Cindy will be sorely missed, but she will not be forgotten. Her father, Arturo Marquez, her sister Patricia Marquez, and her grandparents, Jesus Rodriguez and Paula Rodriguez, passed away before her. She followed in their footsteps.
She is survived by her mother, Rosemary Padilla, of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her daughter, Missy Marquez, and her fiancé Victoria, also of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her son, Chuy Marquez, also of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and her brother, Robert Marquez, of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Her siblings: In Las Cruces, New Mexico, we have a sister named Pauline Marquez; in Las Cruces, New Mexico, we have a brother named Arturo Marquez and his wife Rosie; in Las Cruces, New Mexico, we have a sister named Belinda Rivera and her husband Gary; in Las Cruces, New Mexico, we have a sister named Rose Marie; and in Phoenix, Arizona, we have a brother named Danny Marquez. Grandchildren: Isaiah Mancha, Alyezme Carrera, Giovanni Armijo, Devinity Armijo, Essence Armijo, Xavier Marquez and Arianna Marquez. In addition, a large number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Cindy expressed her want to be cremated, and for her ashes to be distributed among her children after her death. Her dying wish was that everyone celebrate her life with joy and laughter, and that no tears be shed in her memory. She hopes that the joy, laughter, and love that she shared with her family and friends will be what people remember most about her.
